KinKi Kids World is for all English-speaking KinKi Kids fans who, despite the language barrier, have found themselves falling in love with KinKi Kids and their music, this is my humble attempt to bring us all closer to the world of KinKi Kids - Domoto Tsuyoshi 堂本刚 (244) and Domoto Koichi 堂本光一(51).
The contents of this blog are based primarily on contents found in other Chinese blogs, as I have only just started learning Japanese (which is とても むずがしです i.e. very difficult). I wish to thank all the Chinese Kinki Kids fans for their hard work and efforts in translating the Japanese materials/information on the KinKi Kids.

Check out Tsuyoshi's Shamanippon - Country of Intuitive Power. It's very beautifully drawn and you can see the heart shape formed by the people gathering together in the center. Do go to his website (http://tsuyoshi.in/) as the people will be walking and there are other animation as well.
Question: Can you find Tsuyoshi in the picture below?
Of course we fans all know that this name is derived from his solo name:
ENDLICHERI☆ENDLICHERI.
Cheri E is probably coined by Tsuyoshi based on the French word "cherie" (pronounced sha-REE) which means "darling" or "dear one". It's really so him to think of such a sweet name for the concert! The fans are his dear ones and he's our darling!
Finally, something is moving on the KinKi Kids' scene! Tsuyoshi is releasing his Yakushiji Live DVD on 30 June 2010. It's been sooooooooooo long since there's been any new release from KinKi Kids, Tsuyoshi or Koichi! Last year, I was still complaining that there's too much solo and so little KinKi Kids; this year, I'm just grateful that there's a music release in any form so long as it involves either of them! Orz...... See how well trained we KKF have become.
Below is a summary table showing the differences between Limited and Regular Editions. I can never understand why it always seems so complicated to differentiate between the two editions... Anyway, I was still hesitating whether to order Limited or Regular edition (cuz I will usually buy one under the Jap version and the other one under the HK/TW version with Chinese subtitles) but before I know it, the Limited edition is already sold out on YesAsia! Arghhhhhh! So I quickly placed my order with CD Japan, which is more expensive by nearly S$20!!! Orz....

Ongaku wo owarase yo (音楽を終わらせよう)
(I think the translation is "To end the music"...I think)
There are many kawaii scenes of Tsuyoshi on this Music Station, and I really took many many screen caps. However, I am as usual off tangent again.....the emphasis should be on his performance and I must say he was very good, even though I don't really know how to appreciate funk......(Shhhh! Don't let Tsuyoshi know!). His finger movements on his guitar...very fast and fluid! I don't know how Tsuyoshi compares against other professional guitarist but I've learnt guitar before for 1 year and I had to face the reality that my fingers just weren't fast enough to conquer the tremolo technique (I think it's called that...).
Interview:
As usual, Tsuyoshi just can't help touching his hair...and this is right at the start when the camera switches to him......
A special video of Tsuyoshi's performance at Nara on 11 Jul 2009 was shown. The bird's eye view of the temple and the audience swarming the ground and the laser lights...I must say it looks really impressive! I really wish I could have been there.
This is Tsuyoshi when the camera switched back to him after the video. Why am I posting it? Hmm...isn't it obvious?! Look at his mouth! Hehehehe!
Tsuyoshi was saying that the chief priest told him that he should perform to his best and not worry about the Buddha statue behind him, but Tsuyoshi said that that Buddha statue was really big! And everybody burst out laughing as seen in screen cap below. Ok, ok, I admit I took this screen cap really for Tsuyoshi's smile!
At the end of the interview, the 2 female guest stars at the back were making the V sign to attract the camera. Tsuyoshi burst out laughing at that and I guess he also couldn't help playing a stunt too. He put his hands together like praying and the other guests started laughing when they saw it. Even Tamori-san nearly couldn't contain his smile when he saw Tsuyoshi's cheeky stunt. The final shot was where both Tamori-san and Tsuyoshi both put on a very serious face whilst Tsuyoshi "prayed".
Song Performance - Ongaku wo owarase yo:
I think Tsuyoshi must have used the same stage props as for Sora. Guess he's really on a tight budget. Notwithstanding, the effects are very good and the change of colours and projected images on the screen really changes the whole look and feel of the stage. I wonder if the stage effects were designed by him. By the way, this song is 12 minutes on the CD (Now we know why the song title is "To end the music"! Fufufu!). He had to re-arrange and condense the song to 3 minutes for this Music Station performance. Anyway, enjoy the rainbow galore!
Final ending scene. Tsuyoshi really looks kat-koi here.
And of course, I can't help but post this screen cap that I accidentally took. Why? Let me repeat: Look at his mouth! Hehehehe!
This happened at Tsuyoshi's solo concert at Yokohama Arena on 29 May 2009. He asked if there were any couples amongst the fans and there was silence! LOL! He said he must have asked something that should have best not been asked! And here comes the most important part - our sweet and gentle Tsuyoshi then put out his arms to his side and said, "Tsuyoshi's side is vacant yo~!" (剛のここあいてますよ~; Tsuyoshi no koko a-i-te masu yo~). And of course, all the fans start screaming! Tsuyoshi was imitating the action of the comedian (very tall, dressed in pink vest and always sticking his chest out) in the Odori duo.
Tsuyoshi's Bigaku (My Beautiful Sky) Tour has started on 9 April 2009 at his hometown, Nara. At this moment, Tsuyoshi should have ended his 3oth birthday concert. I wonder if Koichi did turn up at the concert to surprise Tsuyoshi. Well, I guess not, cuz if he had, there should have been some news from the fans. Oh well, I can still hope that Koichi has a private birthday surprise planned for Tsuyoshi!!! Fufufu!

Bigaku Tour - Concert Goods
If you are thinking of buying the concert goods, there's this Chinese website yamapakanish which helps you to buy but of course there's a service fee of S$3 to s$15 added to the original prices of the concert goods, plus delivery charges. I myself have never bought through this website but I'm very tempted to try since I don't know anybody whom I can ask to help buy.
