Tsuyoshi to design hats for CA4LA!!!

Tsuyoshi is going to be designing hats for CA4LA (pronounced CASHILA), a famous hat shop in Japan. His first design will be a beret. If it is going to be a cap, I would be able to say no to it quite easily since I don't like to wear caps, but a beret......I'm tempted......Orz

I saw this from 51xmomox24's blog and I thought it was important to note it here for all KinKi Kids' fans to know about this cut segment from the DB recording. Apparently, during the recording of this DB episode (on 28 Jul 2009), KinKi Kids mentioned that they were not assigned any jobs for their 12th anniversary (on 21 Jul 2009) even though they did beforehand highlighted their anniversary to Johnny's Entertainment. I believe all KinKi Kids' fans would find it heartwarming to know that Koichi and Tsuyoshi both really care for their fans and wanted to do something for us on their anniversary.

Congrats to Koichi! Koichi's newest single - "Ayakashi" tops the Oricon Singles Weekly Chart with total sales of 151,093 for the week from 28 Jul to 3 Aug! Impressive!




Koichi's 1st day sales was 64,948, throwing all the other musicians way behind for that day.

Wahahahaha! Yes, I'm laughing at how silly they look in the CM for music.jp, but oh my gosh, how can they look so silly and yet be still so cute and adorable! Kawaiiiiiii!!! It's been such a long time since they had had a chance to show off their "comedic" talents in a commercial. Tsuyoshi's "do do do do doh" (accompanied by the rolling effect!) is so cute and of course, Koichi has no problem recognising him just from that, immediately asking, "A-re Tsuyoshi?".

Sumimasen, but I can't help doing this. If you haven't watched the CM yet, let's first play a game of spotting the KinKi Kids! I'm going to sort of like "play" the CM in reverse order.

The last line is obviously a pun, a play on the rhyme between hitto (hit), gyutto (squeezing tightly) and dotto (dot). I think it means holding tightly to music hits and KinKi are dots! Hahahahahaha!!! Totally hilarious!

Mini Station
The guest stars were walking into the studio about 2-3 minutes before the show starts and Shingo was there to "disturb" the guest stars. Koichi looked surprised but happy to see him.

This is the part where Shingo introduced themselves as the KinKi Kids! Look at how kawaii Koichi is smiling and look look!...his infamous laugh until his back is bent backwards pose!




Talk

When Ayakashi was introduced as the No.1 song, look at Koichi's surprised look in the top right hand small window. And then he started smiling shyly as he looked down. Kochan is still the same after so many years! :)



Koichi looks so good when he appears to be deep in thoughts. I am very intrigued by his red bead necklace. It looks similar to the one he is wearing in TV Guide and another KK fan commented how similar his look in there was to Tsuyoshi's. I have to say his red bead necklace really looks similar to the black bead necklace that Tsuyoshi always wears recently.

I've added a screen cap from a recent DB episode which shows the black bead necklace Tsuyoshi is wearing. It's not the same but the "feel" is similar.



Did you notice his top has silver chains falling down from his collar?! It swings with his body movement. Real cool! Oh, the girl besides him apparently was the lead actress for one of his Shock musical.


Live Performance

Notice the use of the colours of purple, red and blue again in the Music Station stage setup? Is it my imagination or somehow there seems to be more blue this time than in the PV?? (wink wink!)


Love this dance move where they point their finger and then drop it down.

This dance move is real cool! Reminds me of Tsuyoshi's Unchanged in Phi Con but the effect here is very different.



And we come to the ending pose! Koichi is so かっこいい ね！
